You may choose to post the MacBook to us for MacBook logic board replacement if you are not in Melbourne.

MacBook Logic board replacement is the most expensive method to get your Mac laptop working again. It should be the last option you need to consider before purchasing a new Apple Mac laptop. Many of our customers who initially requested board replacement eventually found out that their logic board can be fixed therefore paid less. 2. MacBook logic board replacement cost

MacBook logic board replacement cost is determined by the MacBook model, year of manufacture,  onboard CPU and RAM configuration. Usually, the recent model of the logic board will cost more,  especially for the touch bar model in which the SSD chips are soldered onboard (256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB solid-state drive capacity).

Below are the price lists of our most popular MacBook Pro logic board and MacBook Air logic board. These Macbook logic boards are shorted by year from 2008 to 2018 including the 13″ and 15″ MacBook Pro with touch bar. Our logic boards and our work are covered by a 90-day return-to-base warranty. Please contact us if you can not find the right logic board for your Mac here or if you are not sure which logic board is the right one for your MacBook.

3. Find the replacement logic board suitable for your MacBook

When you purchase a replacement logic board for your MacBook, you need to order it by “logic board part number”. The MacBook model number is not adequate to correctly identify the logic board you need. For example, Apple manufactures 13" MacBook Pro A1278 from 2008 to 2012. They upgrade the logic board nearly every year but the MacBook model number remains the same as A1278. This simple step can guarantee the board will fit in your MacBook case and connections to ALL other components such as screen, keyboard and battery are identical.

You need to remove the logic board from the case and find out the logic board part number. All logic boards we sell here will come with photo to show you where you can find the logic board number for your MacBook.

Logic board numbers all start with “820-“. For example, an A1286 15 inch 2011 MacBook Pro has a logic board number of 820-2915-A or 820-2915-B. 820-2915-A and 820-2915-B are interchangeable with only minor differences. The A1278 13 inch 2012 MacBook Pro has logic board numbers 820-3115-A or 820-3115-B. 820-3115-A and 820-3115-B are also interchangeable but 820-2915 and 820-3115 are NOT interchangeable.
